President & Vice- President

We are proud to announce a historic milestone for the Maltese maritime community. Our founding members, including our President and Vice President, recently attended the WISTA International Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Barcelona October 2025, where a new chapter for our local industry officially began.

Amidst a gathering of global maritime leaders and professionals, it was officially announced that WISTA Malta has received formal approval as a National WISTA Association (NWA).

A Commitment to Global Excellence

Accepting the honor on behalf of the branch, the first elected President of WISTA Malta delivered a clear message of continuity and ambition. In her address to the international delegation, she pledged to uphold the core values that define WISTA International.

“Our mission is simple yet profound: we promise to continue the vision and goals of WISTA International. We are committed to creating a professional platform that reflects the excellence and diversity of the Maltese maritime sector.”

Bridging the Gap: Men and Women Working Together

WISTA Malta is not just an organization; it is a movement aimed at the sustainable growth of our industry. Our goal is to bring together both women and men within the Maltese maritime cluster who share the same drive for progress.

By fostering collaboration, we aim to:

  • Strengthen Networks: Connect local professionals with a global web of maritime experts.

  • Promote Inclusivity: Ensure that talent and leadership are recognized across all sectors of the industry, including the vision to mentorship.

  • Drive the Future: Work collectively toward a more innovative and resilient maritime economy in Malta.

Looking Ahead

Returning from Barcelona with fresh insights and global connections, WISTA Malta is ready to get to work. We are dedicated to building a community where exchange, education, and professional development thrive.

We invite all stakeholders in the Maltese maritime industry to join us in this journey. Together, we will turn our shared goals into a reality, ensuring a prosperous and inclusive future for all.

Welcome to WISTA Malta. Let’s grow the future together.
