Launch of New Pilot Boat “Sierra”

WISTA Malta was honoured to be invited to attend the official launch of the new pilot boat ” Sierra”, a landmark event for Malta’s maritime community held on 3 December 2025.

A significant moment in Malta’s maritime sector, the ceremony brought together key stakeholders from across the industry, including members of WISTA Malta, who were present to witness this important milestone.

The event, hosted by Malta Maritime Pilots, celebrated not only the addition of a state-of-the-art vessel to the country’s fleet, but also Malta’s continued investment in maritime excellence. Built entirely in Malta, Sierra stands as a testament to local craftsmanship, innovation, and commitment to safety at sea.

WISTA Malta members’ presence highlighted the strong and growing collaboration between the two entities.
